Experts wanted: The immigration of international professionals to Germany has been facilitated in some education professions.
The “Positive List” drafted by the Federal Employment Agency provides a helpful guide on professions for which there is a particular demand. This is a list of all understaffed professions across Germany. There are particular shortages in some healthcare and nursing professions. Experts are also required in the fields of IT application consultancy and pharmaceuticals. Other professionals like experienced hairdressers and driving instructors are also sought after.
