The Hessian State Administration, for example, helps its employees combine their family and career by offering teleworking jobs with mobile, flexible working models in case of childcare emergencies, and by providing numerous childcare options. One good example of this practice can be observed with the seal of approval “Familienfreundlicher Arbeitgeber Land Hessen” (“Family-Friendly Employer ~ State of Hessen”) which the Hessian Ministry of the Interior and Sports has awarded to over 60 public authorities and universities, all the highest state authorities, and the Hessian State Parliament.
