Childcare at home: child minders and nannies
Child daycare involves the education, minding and upbringing of children by a male or female child minder.
This form of childcare usually takes place in the child minder’s household, but it can also be done at the child’s home (by a nanny) or other suitable places. The State of Hessen promotes child daycare in many different ways to offer parents high-quality and affordable options for the good of their children.
